Vegan Spa

Vegan beauty and vegan spa treatments refer to the beauty products used being free of any animal ingredients or animal by-products (e.g., honey, milk, or eggs). Cruelty free beauty means that the product hasn’t been tested on animals. Logos can be deceptive though, as a product can be vegan but not cruelty-free, or cruelty-free but not vegan!

Thankfully, you’ll be pleased to hear none of our products from Temple Spa Skincare (our main product house) are tested on animals. Temple Spa are a 100% cruelty free brand, and we support that greatly! Our other product houses such as Voya, Jessica Nails, Natural Spa Factory, isgha and MoroccanOil are all cruelty-free too. However, as we said above, being a cruelty-free brand does not mean all the products are suitable for vegans, so we want to make it clear for our spa guests which treatments and products are vegan-friendly.

Spa Treatments Suitable for Vegans:

All of regular face and massage treatments can be vegan-friendly, but please let us know if you are vegan so we can ensure we use only vegan-friendly products. We are pleased to say that majority of our core products are suitable for Vegans, but some of the products we use do contain animal derived ingredients, such as such as royal jelly, honey, silk, lanolin, and beeswax. If you request your treatment be vegan-friendly, we shall be sure to omit any products containing the ingredients just listed.

JessicaNails GELeration, Custom Colour and Phenom Gel Effect products are cruelty free and vegan, meaning our manicures and pedicures are vegan friendly, although Temple Spa Footbalm SOLE BALM is only vegetarian friendly as it contains honey and linalool.

Our seasonal treatments or monthly offer treatments may not be vegan, as we use a range of products and some many contain honey etc. We aim to be clearer with communications if they are not suitable for vegans, but you can always contact the spa direct to check whether the products they will use in the treatment are vegan friendly or exchangeable with vegan-friendly products.
