DIY Christmas Gifts

This Christmas, we’d like to show you some crafty ways you can gift some Christmas spirit! From jazzing up vouchers to gifts you can make at home, we hope these crafts will inspire you to spend less and create more!

DIY Body Scrub

This is an easy, cheap but sweet gift. You can buy some mason jars for storing and gifting, or you can repurpose jars from food you’ve bought. Just be sure to give them a good wash and dry beforehand!

  • Brown sugar or Epsom salts
  • 4 tbsp of coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • (Optional) essential oils for added sweet smells!

DIY Voucher Wallets

Perfect for jazzing up a printable voucher, these make it exciting to add to the tree! We’ll let a craft professional explain this one, so click here to watch a video.

You’ll need some card or colourful paper, glue and ribbon.

DIY Citrus Marmalade

Did you know making your own marmalade is surprisingly easy? You do now! You’ll need some ingredients, jam jars and a few hours, but you can batch cook for a few friends and family at the same time!

DIY Hot Chocolate Stirrers

Perfect for adults and children alike – these hot chocolate stirrers are so easy and fun to make, younger members of the family could help out (with help from an adult!)

You’ll need chocolate, candy canes and marshmallows.

To make; crush a few candy canes and melt some chocolate. Dip ends of non-crushed candy canes into the melted chocolate, then sprinkle with the crushed candy canes and place on a parchment paper–lined plate and leave to chill. In the meantime, lightly mist large marshmallows with water, then sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Package together and add a little cocoa powder for the ultimate hot chocolate lover’s gift!

DIY Pamper Boxes

Grab a pretty box or bag (repurpose shoe boxes, delivery boxes or nice shopping bags) and purchase a small vino bottle, bar of chocolate, bath bomb, candle, or face mask. Buy shredded paper or make your own and fill the box up with all the goodies!

We enjoy making these with our spa vouchers. It’s a great way to add a gift for the day, and a gift for later!
